CARAMELIZED ONION DIP

Ingredients:

  • 1⁄2 large white onion

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 1⁄2 tsp salt

  • 1⁄2 tsp granulated sugar

  • 1⁄2 cup plain low fat greek yogurt

Directions:

-Slice onion into small thin pieces, heat a medium sized pan over medium high heat.

-Add oil and then add onions. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the onions start to brown.

-Stir in sugar and salt. Cover and reduce heat to low and simmer for 40 minutes, stir halfway through.

-Remove onions from heat and let cool fully. Add onions to yogurt and stir. Eat with whatever you’d like!!
