HOMEMADE MINI CINNAMON ROLLS

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour + 2 tbsp for kneading

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 1/4 cup applesauce

  • 4 tbsp milk of choice

  • 1/4 tsp apple cider vinegar 

  • 1 tbsp vanilla

  • 2 tbsp cinnamon 

  • 1 tbsp light brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp olive oil 

Topping:

  • 1/3 cup vanilla greek yogurt 

  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder

Directions:

-Preheat oven to 350. In a bowl add flour, baking powder, and salt then mix.

-Add applesauce and mix.

-Then add milk, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla, stir. You will get a dough like consistency, cover the dough and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.

-After set, put it onto a floured surface and need for 1 minute. Flatten out and cut into 4 sections.

-Add 1-2 tsp of oil to each portion and spread out. Now add the cinnamon and sugar mix.

-Roll dough up into rolls and place in a baking dish.

-Top with remaining cinnamon and sugar mixture then bake for 12-13 minutes

-Enjoy!!!
